So after a crazy long hiatus, i have decided to start this blog thing again.
Since I last wrote, I have moved apartments, moved studio spaces and am now just getting back into a making stuff mode. In January I took an encaustics class at Lill Street Studios in Chicago, which put a bug in my pants. I felt that I have to start painting again. Well, my little studio in Evanston, was really tooo tiny to add anything else but me and the dog, after two months of rearranging, I decided it just wasn't working. I went home dejected and hopeless. After discussing with my mom, we came up with the idea of just moving. Having already moved apartments twice in one year, I was really reluctant to move anything ever again. But, after thinking about it, I went online and decided to look at studios and prices and the prices seemed reasonable. That night, I felt that what I really wanted if I could have anything was a space big enough for me, Petunia, my stuff AND to do summersaults. I don’t know why, because I think that last summersault I have done was when I was 6 … which is many years ago. I went to look at studios, and 300 square feet was still kind of small feeling. I decided to look at the bigger space and fell in LOVE LOVE LOVE. I haggled and came out with a HUGE space and I love it!!!!

My friend Amy http://anomalybyamy.com/index.html helped me reorganize my space and I am now ready to rock and roll in my space.
